These Collection of prints from the 2016 exhibition “Unwritten History” was inspired by the old streets and buildings of Khartoum.

They tell of a ‘Golden Age’ of the city, memories that touch our hearts when we pass by certain places, awakening within us a certain nostalgia, a special bond and a hidden connection with that place.

Now the old streets and the crumpling buildings bear witness, and the tired older generation bear witness nothing from that golden age remains as if it has never happened.

All that remains is " The Unwritten History" of the city.
