Static: A single figure, drawn in black ink, flickers with unrest. The lines, fragmented and uncertain, evoke the disarray of a mind clouded by confusion. Like static on a broken screen, the figure dissolves into the background, embodying the quiet chaos of inner turmoil, where identity blurs and thoughts clash in a silent storm.

Usra Hamza:

 (born in Khartoum, 1992) is a self-taught Sudanese artist who began her

artistic journey in 2014 as a means of self-discovery and expressing complex emotions.

She employs mixed media to create works that reflect her inner dialogue with the world,

blending bold lines with deep colours. For her, art is an act of liberation—a space for

honesty and vulnerability, where the intangible transforms into visual forms that capture

the essence of human experience.
