Yasmeen Abdullah -
In waiting, I'm seized by an obsession with monitoring the many possibilities:
Perhaps she forgot her small bag on the train, so my address was lost and the mobile phone was lost,
so she was cut off and said: He has no share of the light rain
And perhaps she was preoccupied with an urgent matter or a journey southward to visit the sun, and she called but didn't find me in the morning
And perhaps she collided with a taxi on her way to me, so stars were extinguished in her galaxy,
and she's still being treated with sedatives and drowsiness,
And perhaps she disagreed with the fates of memories, so she swore not to come to a man who calms her artificially
And perhaps she looked in the mirror before leaving herself, so she sighed and hesitated: Does anyone other than myself deserve my femininity
