This artwork features a black figure that appears to float serenely against a deep blue background. The contrast between the glossy black and tranquil blue evokes a sense of calm and mystery. Usra Hamza:

 (born in Khartoum, 1992) is a self-taught Sudanese artist who began her

artistic journey in 2014 as a means of self-discovery and expressing complex emotions.

She employs mixed media to create works that reflect her inner dialogue with the world,

blending bold lines with deep colours. For her, art is an act of liberation—a space for

honesty and vulnerability, where the intangible transforms into visual forms that capture

the essence of human experience.
