“Cultural Construction” captures the spirit of Sudan through a tapestry of everyday life: sun-baked mud-brick homes clustered along winding alleyways, their ochre walls etched with geometric patterns. In the foreground, a herder leads graceful camels and goats across the dusty earth, while women in brightly colored tobes draw water from a communal well and offer sweet mint tea in painted calabashes. Date palms sway above a marketplace where dates, sorghum, and millet are traded beneath simple awnings. The sky glows with warm sunset hues, echoing the warmth of Sudanese hospitality and the strength of traditions built—like the mud houses themselves—by hand, generation after generation.
