Chemicals in My Blood:
Something is shifting inside me—not a thought, not a feeling, but something deeper.
Silent reactions, as if my body were a quiet laboratory, and my blood carried not just life,
but coded messages—equations not to be reasoned, but to be felt.
Maybe it's love, maybe fear,
or maybe just chemical entanglements I no longer control.
All I know is that I don’t feel the same…
and that too is a kind of truth.
Usra Hamza:
(born in Khartoum, 1992) is a self-taught Sudanese artist who began her
artistic journey in 2014 as a means of self-discovery and expressing complex emotions.
She employs mixed media to create works that reflect her inner dialogue with the world,
blending bold lines with deep colours. For her, art is an act of liberation—a space for
honesty and vulnerability, where the intangible transforms into visual forms that capture
the essence of human experience.
