Was born in 1964 in Dongla, Sudan. He graduated painting in 1989 from Sudan University School of Fine and Applied Arts.

“Black and white ..night and day is where I find myself, due to my previous profession as an illustrator doing children's books and comics 

I deal a lot with the black line, I find myself in constant conversation with the white paper and the black ink pen... and the challenge of space and time. Once the white paper is dressed up in all its glory the work stops with my signature.”
